The NGO “Agency of Local Initiatives” has successfully implemented the project “Sector Support Initiative”, aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity and improving the management processes of the organization. Thanks to the support of international partners and engaged experts, the Agency has increased its effectiveness and readiness for new challenges.

How it was

The project was implemented from June to September 2023. The main goal is the development of strategic and operational plans, which became the basis for the further development of the organization. Facilitated sessions, consultations and mentoring were organized in the process, covering all key aspects of the Agency's activities.

Impressive results

• Two key documents have been developed: the Strategic Plan for 2023-2025 and the Operational Plan for 2023-2024.
• 12 events were held: Facilitated sessions and consultations lasting 36 hours provided in-depth elaboration of the organization's goals, tasks and resources.
• Increased organizational development: According to the results of self-esteem, the level of organizational development increased from 3.52 to 3.58 points.

Challenges and Achievements

The project took place in a context of considerable uncertainty due to external circumstances. However, thanks to the cohesion of the team and the professionalism of the experts involved, the defined objectives were achieved. Especially valuable were consultations on strategic planning and analysis of internal processes.

Impact on the organization

The project significantly strengthened the institutional capacity of the Agency. Strategic planning has made it possible to outline clear priorities that will contribute to long-term development. The improved management structure, improved personnel policies and the development of monitoring mechanisms ensure the sustainability of achievements and the ability to respond effectively to challenges.

What left this project

The project “Sector Support Initiative” has left an important mark on the organization's activities. The created plans have become a benchmark for the implementation of new projects, increasing brand awareness and developing partnerships. This experience demonstrates that investing in the internal development of an organization is the basis for large-scale change and increased impact on communities.
