If you have all the necessary documents, for the appointment of a pension, you can contact any service center of the PFU, regardless of the region. The place of residence and actual residence for the purpose of the pension do not matter, since the Pension Fund owns the Register of Insured Persons, where information about each person who has officially worked is stored.
In accordance with Article 47 of the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance”, the pension is paid monthly, no later than the 25th day of the month for which the pension is paid, exclusively in monetary form, according to the place of actual residence of the pensioner within Ukraine specified in the application, regardless of the declared or declared the registered place of residence of the pensioner, in particular by organizations that pay and deliver pensions.
If a person did not receive a pension, other cash payments and subsidies through Ukrposhta and did not leave and was at his permanent place of residence, the pension can be obtained in the usual manner. Depending on the state of hostilities, payment dates may be postponed, which must be specified individually in the PFU body. If the authorized bank cannot make the payment of a pension or cash allowance, the funds must be transferred through another authorized bank. This mechanism works automatically, a special account with the bank will not be opened, and in order to receive a pension or other type of assistance, you will need to contact any branch of JSC “Sberbank” with a passport and a certificate of assignment of RNKOPP.
In case of temporary change of actual place of residence, recipients of pensions and other cash payments can receive payments due to them by transfer without opening an account with a bank in JSC “Oschadbank” or in a branch of JSC “Ukrposhta”. In this case, it is necessary to notify the PFU authorities (about obtaining a pension) or the social protection authorities (about receiving other cash payments). This can be done by contacting the service centers of the PFU in the regions, submitting information through the electronic office of the PFU, the contact center of Ukrposhta, or by contacting the relevant social protection authorities in the region.
