Transmitted 2 powerful generators to ensure uninterrupted work of doctors. Hungarian Economic Group
As a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 1218 health care facilities were damaged. In particular, 540 hospitals were partially destroyed and 173 were completely destroyed. Among them, all 7 outpatient clinics and 5 paramedical and obstetric centers of the KNP “Primary Medical Care Center No. 5 of Kharkiv district” were affected.
Despite the occupation and constant fighting, the Center's employees continue to remain committed to their cause, providing quality primary medical care to the population. In these difficult conditions, the NGO “Agency of Local Initiatives” provided assistance to one of the outpatient clinics of the Center in the village of Cirkuny, transferring 2 powerful generators to ensure the smooth operation of doctors.
This initiative was made possible thanks to the operational support of our partners - the Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Service and the IAC ISHR/International Society for Human Rights. Their help provided the medical facility with a reliable power supply, which is critical to the provision of medical services in the combat zone.
The transfer of generators was an important step to restore the functioning of a medical dispensary serving the population that remained in the conflict zone. Thanks to this, it was possible to guarantee access to medical care in the face of the energy crisis caused by constant shelling of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
The Agency continues to support medical facilities in the affected regions, because the right to health care is fundamental for everyone. We urge everyone to take care of themselves and their loved ones, and to support efforts to restore critical services in communities.
