The project is aimed at creating a real New Year's miracle for children from the de-occupied Vilkhiv community. Thanks to the support of caring people from all over the world, in particular on the initiative of residents of Germany, Ukraine and the United States, it was possible to collect 157 080 UAH and present the holiday to children who especially needed it.
The initiative was born out of a desire to bring joy to children whose childhood was overshadowed by war. The agency announced the fundraising for gifts, attracting a wide audience of philanthropists, including Ukrainians who, despite their own difficulties, continue to help others, and international partners. Significant support was provided by the German company Adam Hall Group, whose employees independently initiated assistance to Ukrainian children.
For the funds raised, 115 sets of winter clothes for children aged one to 17 years for the amount of 142 080 UAH and 160 sets of sweets for the amount of 15 000 UAH were purchased. Additionally, the Agency team organized an internal fundraiser to provide gifts for 55 more children who will receive their gifts in January.
Thanks to the project “Secret Santa”, a total of 170 children will receive the holiday. Winter sets provide warmth and comfort in the cold season, and sweet sets give children joy and smiles. All gifts were delivered personally to the children and their parents in cooperation with the municipal institution “Center for the provision of social services” of the Vilkhiv village council, which provided material and organizational support.
The implementation of the project took place in conditions where the community is still facing the consequences of the war, and the settlements are constantly under threat of shelling. However, the cohesion of the Agency team, the support of the partners and the concern of the benefactors made it possible not only to successfully implement the project, but also to create an atmosphere of unity and hope.
The project “Secret Santa” has become a symbol of humanity and solidarity. He reminded children and parents that even in the most difficult times there are those who are ready to support, give joy and show that they are not left alone with their difficulties. For parents, it was also an important reminder that their children are loved and cared for.
“Secret Santa” not only created a holiday for children, but also demonstrated the power of united support. Every contribution, every gift and every kind word has become part of a great miracle that will remain in the hearts of children and their parents for many years to come. The project showed that even in the darkest of times, joint efforts can do good and give hope.
