Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the Vilkhiv Village Council through the provision of generators

Thanks to the support of the partner EAST SOS managed to ensure a constant supply of energy to critical facilities and institutions in the Vilkhiv Village Council, which is important for stable work in the conditions of war, ensuring the restoration and maintenance of the community's life.

How it was 

The project was implemented in conditions of complex logistics and constant threat of shelling, but thanks to the coordinated work of the Agency team and the support of the partner EAST SOS, it was possible to successfully complete all stages of the initiative. As part of the project, two powerful generators were purchased, which provided uninterrupted power supply for administrative buildings, medical and other social facilities of the community.

Impressive results 

Thanks to the generators provided, it was possible to provide energy supply for more than 3000 people living in the Vilkhiv village council. Generators made it possible to ensure the operation of critical facilities, in particular medical institutions and educational institutions, which is especially important for the restoration and maintenance of social infrastructure in wartime.

Challenges and Achievements 

The project required overcoming numerous difficulties, such as security-related risks and complicated logistics in areas under shelling. Thanks to the experience of the Agency team and the effective support of the partner EAST SOS, it was possible to ensure the timely delivery and installation of generators, which allowed to maintain the stable operation of vital institutions.

The project was an important step to ensure safety and stability in the affected communities. It allowed not only to provide electricity in critical conditions, but also demonstrated the power of teamwork and support from partners in difficult times.

What left this project 

The initiative to provide generators was an important contribution to maintaining the stable operation of the Vilkhiv Village Council and its infrastructure, which is especially important for those who suffered the greatest difficulties as a result of the war. The project was an example of how, even in conditions of uncertainty, projects can be implemented that help communities survive and recover.
