Community: ISAR ISconjugation
The project aims to support residents of the Vilkhiv community affected by the war. Thanks to this project, it was possible to restore infrastructure, create a new space for community interaction and provide comprehensive support to local residents.
The project ran from March to July 2024 and aimed to improve access to services, restore social connections and support vulnerable populations. The implementation provided for the facilitation of meetings, consultations, construction work and the provision of free assistance to the residents of the community.
The project was implemented in a difficult security situation, in particular due to hostilities that posed threats to employees and delayed work. However, due to flexibility in management and cooperation with local authorities, all tasks were successfully completed.
The opening of the Center for Public Participation was an important step in the recovery of the community. The space will serve as a platform for educational, cultural and social initiatives, promote social cohesion and provide access to essential services.
The project “Community: Center for Recovery and Development” became the foundation for the sustainable development of the Vilkhiv community. It demonstrated how strategic planning, collaboration with local authorities and support from international partners can transform a community, rebuild trust and ensure a better future for residents.
