Charitable organization “Charitable Foundation of Kharkiv community “Toloka”. With the support of the Kharkiv-Nuremberg Fraternity Society Partner Schaftsverein Charkiw-Nuremberg
The project is aimed at restoring the capacity of public health care institutions of Kharkiv region in the conditions of war. Thanks to this initiative, medical institutions received generators with automatic switching on reserve with a capacity of 25-30 kW, which ensure round-the-clock operation of equipment even under de-energized conditions.
The project was born in response to the urgent need of medical institutions for stable electricity supply, because power outages pose a serious threat to the lives of patients and complicate the work of medical personnel. Thanks to the support of the Kharkiv Community Foundation “Toloka” and partners from the Kharkiv-Nuremberg Fraternity Society, it was possible to purchase and deliver generators to health care facilities of Kharkiv district in a short time.
The transmission of generators made it possible to ensure the uninterrupted operation of hospitals operating around the clock. This made it possible to provide emergency care to both local residents and internally displaced persons, as well as to create conditions for the work of doctors who moved from other regions of the country. Generators have become the key to stable operation of intensive care units, surgical units and laboratories that require constant energy supply.
The implementation of the project took place in conditions of complex logistics due to the war, but thanks to professional coordination from the Agency and partners, all stages, from procurement to installation, were completed promptly. This initiative is an example of effective cooperation between international and local organizations to support critical infrastructure.
Transferred generators significantly improved the quality of medical care in the communities of Kharkiv region. Patients gained confidence that even in difficult conditions of war they would be provided with timely and high-quality care. Doctors who hold the medical front of Ukraine have received a reliable tool to fulfill their mission, saving lives and health of people.
The project to provide generators has become not only a technical solution, but also a symbol of support for physicians working in extremely difficult conditions on a daily basis. He demonstrated how partnership and solidarity can ensure the resilience and reliability of critical systems, even in the most difficult times. Thanks to this project, Kharkiv region received not only equipment, but also the opportunity to continue confidently holding the medical front of Ukraine.
